The school is intended to give hands-on training to Colombian undergraduate, graduate students and senior undergraduates in different detector technologies used in Particle Physics, including applications to other areas. The school will run for one week, with lectures in the morning and laboratory sessions in the afternoon. There will be a poster session for selected contributions. Application for admission is free of charge. A maximum of 40 participants will be admitted.

Goals of the III UNIANDES PARTICLE DETECTOR SCHOOL

• To train Colombian students in the area of radiation detectors and their applications.
• To stimulate the development of experimental particle physics in Colombia.
• To promote multidisciplinary applications of particle detectors.
• To motivate students to work in particle detector research.
